Welcome, traveler, to the Temple of His most august ridiculousness, Ogopogo. Feel free to look around and gaze in wonder at His majesty and marvel at His 133+ sk1Lz. Hopefully you will leave a little wiser, or a little stupider, or both. All things are possible when your deity is a lake monster.
Here we will take the opportunity to dwell a bit on His law and dictum, the guiding principles of his Followers, and the philosophies by which the world of Hokuto may be made ready for His return.
Ogopogo on Community
Community is everything to Ogopogo. Communal living. Communal supplies. Greed exists only as the desire to procure more wealth and supplies for the group. The individual is only as strong as the community, and the community is as weak as its lamest member. Do not be that lame member.
FOO includes a number of gifted artisans who are usually available to provide gear for His disciples for free or the cost of materials. Try not to piss off His chosen artisans, lest you find them unavailable next time you really really need another shadow archer suit.
FOO members are expected to toil a certain amount to contribute to His, and their own, prosperity. The garnering of raw materials, the working of those materials, or the contributions of phat loot to the cause are some examples of this. Members who fail to contribute will first be subjected to a good amount of behind-their-backs grumbling from senior FOO members, then outright hostility, then something really really bad. Remember the glorious mindless toil that was Keep Week! Occasional contributions are nothing next to the sacrifice your brothers made for you at that time.
Ogopogo on Whining
Ogopogo despises whining. The annoying sounds made by complainers are carried especially well through water, and they offend His sensitive ears. Complaints are good, as they help address issues before they become critical. Whining about bullshit tends to result in Ogopogo taking possession of a nearby FOO (with better stats than you) and smacking you into oblivion as an example of His terrible wrath.
Ogopogo on Murder
Random acts of violence are not encouraged by His most august absurdity. However, He realizes that it is part of life, and it sure does slake his thirst for blood. But the rash acts of a few may have long-lasting repercussions on the group. Of course, the goods garnered through controlled hunting can greatly enrich the community. Basically, what we are saying is that we have no policy. One might be coming along. 8P
Members are reminded that the Malcontents of Ogopogo are on an Order stone, providing for massive opportunities for sanctioned, virtuous murder in His name.
Ogopogo on Anything Which OSI Thinks is Bad This Week
Bad bad bad! We don't do it, whatever it is, or whatever the GM's mistakenly think it is. 8P
